The Soul Tribe Has Arrived
Written by Terrance Stone
The city was outside in a different way at Soul Tribe Revue, an intimate open mic experience that recently took place in Inglewood, CA at The Tribe LA. This wasn’t your typical showcase, this was a room built on comfort, creativity, and real connection.
Hosted by Mante, the reigning Who’s The Hottest 2025 champion, the night reflected exactly where he’s headed in his journey. Mante has been making all the right moves, getting into the right rooms, and this event felt like proof of that growth. From the start, the space felt intentional, intimate enough for artists to feel free, yet energized enough to keep the crowd locked in.
One of the biggest surprises of the night came when Grammy-winning songwriter Sisi stepped in with a special performance. Fresh off a Grammy win for her songwriting, her presence alone raised the temperature in the room. It was clear early on, there were real hitters in the building.
What made Soul Tribe Revue stand out was the range of artists. You had brand-new performers stepping on stage for the first time, sharing space with seasoned artists who’ve traveled across the country, using Los Angeles as a stop along their musical journey. That blend gave the night real depth.
A few artists especially stood out to us.
First was Phoenix, a UK-based artist currently in Los Angeles looking to expand his reach. The moment he hit the stage, his music landed immediately. His presence fit the room perfectly, offering something refreshing outside of the city’s usual trap-heavy sound. Phoenix brought positivity, life, and emotion, the kind of music that makes you feel something. He’s definitely an artist worth checking out.
Another standout was JayHype, a Jersey native now holding it down in Los Angeles. You could hear it in her sound, confidence, grit, and real stage presence. JayHype also runs an open mic every Monday at The Hype Spot in LA, and that experience showed. She knew how to take the crowd’s energy and turn it into her own, making sure all eyes stayed on her throughout her set. Seeing a Jersey artist thriving in LA always hits different, and she absolutely delivered. Then came the superstars of the night.
Sisi returned to the stage to perform original music she wrote herself, and her voice was so powerful it could be heard from the parking lot. Her confidence, control, and stage awareness made it obvious why she earned a Grammy. Even while supporting artists throughout the night, she commanded attention effortlessly.
The final standout, of course, was the champion himself, Mante. Closing the night with a remarkable performance, he showcased sharp rapping skills and smooth delivery over every beat. The crowd closed in, fully engaged, soaking in every bar. No one left disappointed.

From the artists to the energy, this event felt like the beginning of something special. Major shoutout to Natural Soul Sista for putting together such a meaningful experience, the upstairs vendors selling handcrafted custom jewelry, and every artist who stepped on stage and gave the room their truth.
Soul Tribe Revue was one for the books and trust us, you don’t want to miss the next one.
